2026- 2027 Registration is now open!
Hello! My name is Miss Jen and I teach the UPK 4/5 year old classes. I was born in Nebraska but moved to Loveland when I was 5 years old and I've been here ever since. When my oldest two children were in elementary school, I taught in their computer lab, calling all 500 students at the school my own. My husband Steve and I have four kids, Addyson, Mikaela, Theodore, and Everett. We also have our own zoo, as we have two dogs, one guinea pig, two ferrets, and a tank full of goldfish! I really enjoy playing games with my family, spending time in the mountains, and paper crafting. Thank you for allowing me to play a part in your kiddo's life!
I started working at Loveland Preschool in October 2021. Prior to that, I worked for 4 years as a teacher’s aide at Lakewood United Methodist Preschool (LUMP) in Lakewood, CO. LUMP is a play-based preschool where parents also volunteer in the classroom daily. My own kids went to Steele Cooperative Preschool in Denver, and I served on the board and as the tour manager there. I am very familiar with the play-based, cooperative style of preschool from both a parent and a teacher perspective and I love how it involves parents in their kids’ preschool experience. I live in Fort Collins (where I grew up) with my husband, Matt; my children Dylan and Maia; and our dogs Autumn & Baxter. I like to read, craft, camp, play outdoors, and spend time with my friends and family.

Hi, my name is Rachel. I was born in Michigan, moved all up and down the East coast, and then in 2010 I landed in Colorado. I have been working in early childhood education for the last 13 years and absolutely love it. In my free time I enjoy getting outside with my husband, children, and our chocolate lab Bailey. I also enjoy creating art, reading mystery novels and cooking international cuisine. I am looking forward to being part of and contributing to the wonderful community that LPS has created.

Hi, I am Cassie and I’ve been part of the Loveland Preschool family for the past five years, first as a parent, then as a board member and teacher’s aide. I’m now thrilled to be stepping into the role of lead teacher in our 2/3 class. I grew up in Fort Collins and pursued an early childhood education focus at FRCC. I married my high school sweetheart in 2009 who joined the Navy and we traveled where he was stationed. I lived overseas in Japan in 2011 for 4 years. While my husband was on and off deployments, I played roller derby and traveled around Asia. We settled down in Loveland in 2016 and have two sons and a dog. I enjoy going to yoga classes, playing games with my boys, building miniatures and painting my nails.
Hello, my name is Lindsey! I was born in Loveland, grew up in Manitou Springs, moved to Fort Collins for school, and then settled back here in Loveland. After college, I worked in social services for almost two decades in both Larimer and Boulder Counties. My husband and I have two sons who both went through Loveland Preschool and we were very happy with the play-based style of learning. My boys are much older now and I am excited to be part of the Loveland Preschool Community again, this time as a classroom aide. Outside of work, I love to read, hike, bake, play board games with my family, and occasionally snuggle our three rambunctious cats.
My name is Miss Lizzie and I am an aide in the UPK 4/5 classroom. I am a former high school Mathematics teacher from Wisconsin. My family moved to Colorado in 2022 and have loved being a part of the Loveland Preschool community since then. My twin boys Ethan and Owen were lucky enough to have Miss Jen as their 4/5 teacher after we moved. I also have a daughter, Addie, who will be attending LPS in the UPK class this year. I spend most of my time caring for my three amazing kids and shuttling them around to all the sports and activities that they love. I love spending time with family, hiking or climbing in the mountains, and whenever possible I love to travel to new places and see the world. I look forward to getting to know you and your little ones this year!
Hi! My name is Miss Erika, and I will be a Teacher's Aide in the 4/5 classroom. I was born and raised in Loveland and feel lucky to continue to call this place home. My daughter, Collins, attended Loveland Preschool for three years, and our family truly appreciated the play-based learning environment, welcoming community, and opportunities for parent involvement. I loved being part of Collins' preschool experience, and some of my favorite memories are from volunteering in her classroom. I'm excited to now be part of the Loveland Preschool team and help create those same experiences for other families. Outside of the classroom, you'll usually find me cheering on Collins at one of her activities or spending time with family and friends. I’m grateful to be part of the Loveland Preschool community and look forward to a fun school year ahead!
Hi there! My name is Miss Katy, and I am a teacher’s aide in the 4/5 UPK class. I am originally from the Chicago area, but spent 12 years in Arizona before moving to Loveland in 2021 with my husband, Jesus, and our three children, Riley, Penny, and Luke. Before joining the Loveland Preschool family, I spent nearly 10 years working as a professional pastry chef. When I’m not in the classroom, you’ll probably find me baking, working out, cheering on my kids at their sporting events, or playing with our Goldendoodle, Ted. I am looking forward to a fun-filled year and getting to know all of the wonderful students and families!
