Covid

As Loveland Preschool is not a K-12 school, it does not always follow Thompson School District Guidelines when it comes to COVID policy. Below is our Return to Learn policy following both an exposure or a positive COVID test.

Return To Learn after Positive COVID test:

Option 1: You may wait 5 days after the date of your child’s positive test and take a test. If this test comes back negative and your child’s symptoms have subsided, they may attend class the next class day.  Please bring proof of the negative Covid test results with you to school upon your child’s return.

Option 2: You may wait 10 days after the date of the positive test before bringing your child to school.  If, after 10 days, the child’s symptoms of Covid have gotten better, they may then return to class on the next class day.  No Covid test would be necessary if you choose to wait longer to bring your child back to school.

Return to Learn after COVID Exposure:

Option 1: You may wait 5 days after the date of exposure and take a test. If this test comes back negative and your child has not shown any symptoms, they may attend class the next class day.  Please bring proof of the negative Covid test results with you to school upon your child’s return.

Option 2: You may wait 10 days after the date of exposure before bringing your child to school.  If, after 10 days, the child has not shown any symptoms of Covid, they may then return to class on the next class day.  No Covid test would be necessary if you choose to wait longer to bring your child back to school.
